Calendar - November
November is a special time of year at our school. This month your child will be exploring the following units:
- "Harvest"
- "Land Transportation"
- "Water & Air Transportation"
- "Thanksgiving"
Our preschool classes will reinforce their Harvest unit by reading the book "Stone Soup" and initiating a food drive which will benefit people in our local community.
We will discuss the importance of veterans and their service to our country as we acknowledge Veterans Day.
Our whole school will celebrate Thanksgiving by participating in our annual Thanksgiving Feast held the Tuesday before Thanksgiving Day.
