Infants and Toddlers
Our
infant/toddler staff provide your child with an abundance of love and
nurturing. Through the use of a Primary Care Giver System, your baby
will bond with one or two people who will be dedicated to getting to
know you & your baby.
In
addition to meeting a baby's basic needs, our staff uses age
appropriate activities which aid children in developing physically,
emotionally and intellectually. We use books, pictures, songs and music
to stimulate language and auditory development. Small hand-held toys
and gym sets help develop visual discrimination and motor skills. Push
toys & ride-ons aid in the development of a baby's gross motor
skills.
Each child receives a daily chart that records
his/her feedings, naps, diaper changes and special
circumstances/activities. We have an open door policy that encourages
parents to participate and become involved in our center's events.
Out toddlers have their own classroom and a large
shaded play ground with swings, play houses, balls, slides and push
toys. They participate in a circle time and work on simple arts &
crafts projects while learning to share and play with others.
Finally, all of our
infant & toddler caregivers are extensively screened and selected
based on education, experience, character, background, attitude, and
most importantly, their love of children.
