Calendar - December
December is a wonderful and exciting time of year for everyone here at Laurel Tree Academy! This month your child will be exploring the following units:
- "Circus"
- "Holidays"
- "Giving"
Our school will reinforce their Giving unit by making holiday ornaments to adorn our annual "Giving Tree". The ornaments will have a gift idea written on the back to be purchased and placed under the tree. All items will be collected and given to the Center for Family Services for distribution.
The preschool children have been busy practicing for our annual Holiday Show. They will be singing songs in celebration of Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanza. This is one of their highlights of the year and not to be missed!
Of course the month would not be complete without our annual visit & photos with the big guy himself - Santa Claus!
Each class will also celebrate the season with a Holiday classroom party - parents are welcome to attend and celebrate the season with us!
